Some prayers to you, get well quickly! I'm banned from ladders unless someone is around...orders from the wife. She says my 71 year old body can't take falls like I used to. Darn, she's right.

I have headstamped cases older than me that are in better condition than me and you and old scribe and Larry and a whole bunch of us!
To bad we can't get annealed and resized!
Speaking of getting resized, Larry and his lovely wife Lisa are doing meal-on-wheels for me today. Reloading friends are the BEST kind of FRIENDS.

I was Bless by the "dies" that made me. It's not their fault I'm worn out my parts by my own doings and mother nature always wins any way. Friends like Larry and Lisa were cast in the furnace of their own hardships, empathy being a byproduct.
Yes this may sound like my pain meds working I hope it doesn't detract from thanks I owe them.
On the the hand if you do find those antique dies and would loan them to me......

In my mix of odd head stamps on 38 spl I have,
Super Vel
WRA SPL TOOL
R A 5 6
R A 6 4
I also have a bunch of W C C 8 7. Someone at a gun shop in Spokane once told me that they were military surplus Winchester from 1987. No factory crimp or anything like that but they seemed thicker in the wall than any other brass that I had at the time.

The RA 56,64 is Radford Arsenal 1956 and 1964
The Super Vel was most likely Winchester hot loads also known as 38-44 , 38 High velocity and several others . They were intended ammo for the "New" 44 Magnum frame M29 chambered for 38 Special . It's called +P now and has an industry standard .
WRA is always Winchester Repeating Arms and is the brass from before the Olin split . Circa 1956 I think . No clue on the TOOL . Just as a guess proof load cases maybe .

I got several thousands of .38 cases, but actually never checked for headstamps. Most of my cases are CBC (Magtech), quite a few are S&B (which I toss on sight, because they always cause trouble with priming), and I got a number of GECOs. But don't know about the rest.
