For my .38 spec, I inherited 200 rds of reloaded wad cutters along with a 36-1 J frame 3" bbl. For my 9mm
I got a box of 9mm with purchase of gun. I now have thousands of each caliber from range pick up and now problems with them. Pick them from the brass bucket or cement floor at the range and inspect them when you get home.

I concur with some of the above comments. 38 SPL brass is very common and can be obtained from your local range or from other forum members. If you do buy brass, the going rate is no more than 5¢ apiece. 357 is slightly more but you can find it on the forums for less than 10¢ apiece.

Good luck!
