Hello from southeastern Washington

I have been lurking for a couple of days and thought I should say howdy. I have been a shooter for about 40 years, mostly traditional muzzleloaders, and I plan to begin reloading in the next few weeks. I appreciate the wealth of knowledge on the board and I hope to be able to contribute something in the future. Thanks for letting me hang out here. :)

Welcome aboard from the State of Jefferson. I also shoot traditional muzzleloaders and reload several different center fire calibers.

Welcome from near Cape Spear. What drew me to this site was the maturity of the members as evidenced by the degree of respect seen in previous posts. Only shot BP maybe twice. First was an 8 gauge smooth bore elephant gun. It hurt lol. Liked the smell though.

Michael, don't hurt me to bad, im not hijacking the welcome area but MacD just reminded me of something from years & years ago.
I remember my dad telling me about an 8ga that beat the snot out of him, not being at all recoil sensitive, I couldn't understand what he was harping about, that is until I got a chance
to fire a 600 Nitro Express once, & only once. I thought the thing rearranged my
body parts.

I've never seen an 8ga in person.

Welcome.

There's generally no BS here.
