Hello from central Missouri
Hello everyone, been lurking around for a couple of days and finally got around to signing up...
I started my reloading endeavor about 12 years ago with a couple sets of lee dies in 22-250, 30-06 and a Lee challenger kit and things have kinda been escalating ever since.
Nowdays I'm loading for 20+ Cartridges with mostly lee dies, still using the old challenger press along with a green press I picked up at a yard sale for $15(it had a 505 scale & a uniflow powder measurer with it so i figured it was worth the price lol), also added a classic turret to the line up a few years ago.
I messed around and got bit by the AR bug so now with having multiple rifles to feed in 223/5.56, 300BO, & 9mm I bought my first loadmaster and the parts & pieces to go with it to load those three cartridges, So as soon as the mailman drops it off Im sure I'll have plenty of questions for you all...
I also dabble in bullet casting a little bit with an assortment of lee molds and a couple lee bottom pour pots....

And a couple of bottom pour pots............sounds suspiciously like major casino buffet not dabbling .
Welcome aboard , there might be a couple of more casters hanging around in here.

Welcome. I cast also but still a novice. Seems casting is part science, part art and part black magic lol.

Re: Hello from central Missouri
It starts off all innocently with a new pot and a mould for your most shot favorite "to save a few dollars so you can shoot more" ..... Next thing ya know you have you have 2-3 pots , custom alloys , 5 moulds for 9/38/357 , 3 for 358 rifle , and at least that many more for 45s .gunsmoke71 wrote:Easy there..... Today you're thinking "man I'm hooked up I got 150# of WW ingots !" It's lot long before your thinking 10# of WW is only 350 454424s and the 358 -125s less than a box of 9/38 per ingot , hey there's a 25 cal mould for that 25-35 I don't need need oops whats that doing in there ?

Re: Hello from central Missouri
Welcome from the liberal cow-pattie that is Washington state. Well, west of the Cascades it is anyway. Reading the other "welcomes" made me smile. All are true. The "reloading to save money" is definitely a fallacy, may as well of bought a boat.... This is a very good site, best I've been a member of, a lot of fine gentlemen (perhaps ladies also) that are always willing to help..
