Inland Carbines
Any of you have an Inland Carbine? Little buggers seem expensive, but I have been considering the ILM160 Scout. I have a Universal that I purchased in the '60s. Never given me a bit of a problem but recently became interested in the scout.

Re: Inland Carbines
Not the answer your looking for but I have a 1943 Inland and a '42 Rockola.

Re: Inland Carbines
Thanks, daboone. Kind of an undefined question, so, are these durn things worth a grand? My Universal pops away at a minute of hog at 100-yards, the internet pros say that is not possible with the Universal Carbine, but it has been doing it for 50 years this year. I think I paid $25 for it through a trade.
I guess I answered it for myself, not worth a grand.

Re: Inland Carbines
Well I got mine back in '72 and I did it on lay a way for 40 or 50 bucks total. The Rockola was a garage sale find for $250.00 maybe 15 years ago.
The Inland was one of my favs for pig hunting too.
I do appreciate how they have appreciated over the years. I'll never sell them, as my grandsons have already called dibs.

Re: Inland Carbines
Hmmmm
I just saw where one in San Antonio just sold for less than I thought they were bringing.
A family member had one from around 1950 he sold several years ago (along with a lot of other valuable now priceless nearly firearms) before the prices went way up for more than the one in SA was listed for.
