Another Lee Loader that has realized the Lee beam is the perpetual motion machine DaVincci inviosioned.
So indexing fixed it? I have no idea how many rounds have been through my LCT and I've never had to adjust the indexing although I did wear out the plastic indexer thingie and replaced it.

just for the record, "RD" was the one that suggested you check the indexing, not me (jd). I don't have or use a turret press, but I can imagine that proper indexing could be a major concern.

No need for apologies. I just didn't want to get credit for suggesting the fix that worked.ME_flyboy wrote:Sheesh!!!

Welcome to the site from Washington State. I had to intervene, there just seemed to be way to many Texicans in this thread.... Glad you got the "problem" figured out. Also welcome to the age of retirement, I've been in such a condition for 11 years now, however right now I'm "helping" a friend build a house. Finished the stem walls Friday so it's elephant trusses for floor joists today. I don't think I'll last.

Hmmm gonna try this again....first Novel didn't post..Ranch Dog wrote:So, tell us about your choice of username!
Me_flyboy is just a name I thought of quickly...
as flying has been my passion ever since I could first flap my wings... but I got my start years later.
I joined a German Glider club, when I was (US ARMY) stationed in Germany in 1963 -65, probably before many of you were born.... (same place actor Bruce Willis was born)
I recently decided to build my own aircraft, since "LIFE" is no longer getting in my way, and I'm free to do so.
I'm building under the U.S.Ultralight category, which gives me carte blanch to build anything I want, as long as it weighs no more than 254 pounds empty.
I start on the wings next week, when the spruce lumber is delivered.
I ordered bulk lumber and will do the milling to size, myself. And even though half of what I bought,
will end up as waste and become mulch for my garden, it is still less expensive than ordering the
pieces cut to size.
At this point in time, my fuselage looks very similar to the photo above,
but without the wings, or pilot...

edit:
OK the image didn't post??
I used the same procedure as for the bullets pic.

Yes I too am glad "problem" is gone.. and, I put up 120 rounds that first night. Hope to do another
hundred or so this week. Ahh yes the age of retirement... Been here for past 8 yrs myself.
So I'm still a newbie... See? The naps prove it!!
Hey at least take consolation that you're not dealing with this awful heat!! My airplane hangar reached 112 degrees last week.
Remember "The Box" from movie "Bridge on the river Kwai", that Alec Guinness got put in as punishment ?

I now know, what that felt like!
