I was a bit hesitant to contact them because I have done so in the past and felt they thought their product was beyond suspicion. The same today, it is either my firearms or me, but not them. Hated to go there, but there was no hesitation on their part, so that becomes a line in the sand for this Texan. Bottom-line is that I called Grafs and added the 454 Casull Winchester brass to my 32-20 brass order as it had not been shipped yet.Ranch Dog wrote:I did contact them through their website as I wanted them to see the picture but haven't heard back from them. I'm using Starline in 375 Win (38-55 Win Long Brass), 41 Mag, 45 Colt, 454 Casull, 45-70 Govt, 480 Ruger, and 9X18 Makarov and along with the 32-20 Win and Casull.daboone wrote:RD give Starline the same benefit of the doubt as we give Lee. They also felt that it was okay to shoot the current round of 32-20 despite finding those with cracked necks. I agree with JD, "suck it up, Buttercup". I will pull the bullets, primers, and powders and toss the brass. Going to toss all my 454 Casull brass that has been shot more than once, and sell or trade the new stuff.
I know that there is a lot more to brass than just brass and the Starline 32-20 & 454 Casull is too brittle. I'm glad I went with Privi Partizan for my last large semi-auto handgun purchase and the other cartridges that I'm using Starline brass with will go to other manufacturers.
