G'evening Everyone
Living in this oppressive state and seeing the gun/ammo laws being passed in the middle of the night I decided it was time to become self sufficient. I can't shoot a lot and when I hunt it's mostly deer hunting with rifled shotgun but I wanted to be able to feed all my guns as needed with ample spares. I did a lot of research and watched a bunch of videos & decided the Lee 4-hole turret Press was right for me. I drove to Cabela's in CT and saw a sale on 22LR ammo I was told I couldn't buy it without a CT ammo permit. I saw the hand writing on the wall. They were willing to sell me reloading equipment though. I bought the Lee Classic Turret kit with the Auto disk some 223 brass, 224 bullets a set of Lee dies & a few pounds of powder and started to acquire more components. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time to shoot therefore my load developing is lacking so I haven't loaded much ammo. I am a NYS certified firefighter, I vol. for 19yrs. I'm a full time heating tech as well for 25yrs. I also have a background in all aspects of home construction & repair.

Good calls all the way around. I deserted rimfire for a while after 2012 stuff but I came back around...after I learned reloading basics. Welcome.

Welcome. Lots of handloading expertise here to draw upon. The turret press is a great product.

Re: G'evening Everyone
Welcome to the forum! Good decisions on reloading and the equipment. Due to the hoarding of the BHO years, I wasn't able to buy 22RF in my rural area for years. I sold all my rimfires, and my 22 is the 218 Bee; haven't looked back and because of the shortage I experienced, and I would never consider another rimfire. I shoot so that I can reload, so the move fit my desires all around.
