The username Horseman is now a misnomer for me.....I got rid of most all my horses the last couple weeks except for one. He left yesterday. Gave him to my favorite niece. She's been a horse person most all her life and we've spent many really great hours over the years talking horses. She's always wanted Bud, (his papered name is Perpetual Peace ) and he's a really fine animal. I let her have him as I know he's going to a good "horse" home with good care and horse knowledge. My niece sent me a phone message with pictures last night with him still all tacked up after she took him for his and her first ride with the message "ain't he perdy, he's such a good boy, I love him already, thank you Uncle Wayne"....(that's my "papered" name but it's Gus to my friends). I'm tellin' ya' fella's, it's a hard thing. No, I won't be getting any more, I'm done. I've got rid of all my pack gear, most all of the tack and accessories, (that stuff collects just like reloading gear ) except my saddle (a cowboy never sells his saddle) I caught myself looking at the clock last night thinking "I need to get out and feed the stock", then looking out towards the barn later just to check on them...I think I'm in a state of withdrawal. Gonna have to get a bigger mower.

I thought about changing mine after I sold the trike this spring but didn't.
