Changes to My Powder Coating Process

I made two changes to my powder coating process.

First, I modified a pair of cheap needle nose pliers. I heated the tips, bent them, and sharpened them. Now it's easy to pick out bullets without disturbing the coating.

Second, I used a silicone baking mat instead of the teflon-coated aluminum foil. What a difference. Absolutely no sticking whatsoever. The mat you see is the one I used. I can't tell it's ever been used at all.

Good Idea.Thanks. I have some (a, a pair??) of tweezers about 8" long that have worked OK for me, but I think I could get a better grip on the bullet with the modified pliers...

I've used tweezers but found them to be too flexible and prone to slip. These bite no matter where or how you grab the bullet. Only takes a light touch too.
