Yup, this is how I make my dummy rounds. Only thing that's different is that I use a spent primer because if I don't, I sometimes end up lighting off the "live dummy" round!

That little charge of x.x gr weight, under the extreme acceleration & impact
of recoil WiLL, absolutely make a difference??? Just another tid-bit for your files.
