Instructions for Replacing Loadmaster Draw Bolt

Post by rp2pilot »

In the process of renovating my old Loadmaster Press, I replaced the carrier and It smoothed out the functioning quite a bit. The draw bolt seemed just a tiny bit out of true, however. I ordered/received the collection of parts to replace the draw bolt (Draw Bolt, primer cover, primer door spring, primer door retainer, yoke, yoke pin clamps), but I'm a little lost as to what's involved in replacing these parts. Do I remove the ram cylinder? Has anyone done this before, and can you point me in the right direction?

I remove the ram to clean or work on the various parts. Not a lot to it. It also allows you to look at the yoke, any evidence of the draw bolt being over-torqued is found here. Just something else to look at, you can see how this one was over torqued.
