I've got part of a Lee Loader ...

I ran across my old .38/.357 Lee Loader a few days ago. Its load data and its yellow dipper were missing after the movers vandalized our stuff a few decades ago. I want to give the kit to my cousin to get him started reloading. I need to know the dipper size on that kind of Lee Loader. I'll scan and print load data for the bullets and powder I'll be giving him. I think the dipper was about .70 cc or so.

Thanks in advance,

There is a topic with a whole bunch of the original and newer yellow dipper instructions scanned and posted. It was going to be a sticky yet was never completed.

I believe .7 cc is the stock dipper for 38 Special. Since you have access to a data sheet, I'd suggest a dipper kit. Much more latitude... https://www.titanreloading.com/product/ ... asure-kit/

I apologize. I didn't make it clear that the data sheet was also Gone With The Movers. I'll get his load data for the powder I'll send from Dick Lee's Second Edition of his reloading manual.

Once again, I apologize. Been doing that a lot lately.

The dipper for the 357 mag is .7cc, the dipper for the 38 spl is .5cc. New charge cards and replacement dippers are available from Lee Precision. The older style dippers and charge cards are no longer available new. The 38 spl dipper in the old red or black was the 020 size.

It “was never completed” but is still in progress with 5 pages of data cards;

Alaska Guy was sort of editing it and keeping up with a list.

You might see what I mean by completed if you go back and read all the replies.
