Hello from a newbie (to reloading - a shooter for 60 years or so).
I shot my first 30 cartridges yesterday and wanted to post the results for input.
I'm also looking for suggestions for non-obvious sources for data on cast bullet reloading the 9mm.
I used my new Lee Pro 4000.
125g cast bullets from HSM over WinClean 244 power in new Sig brass using Federal small pistol primers.
All loads at 1.125"+/- COL.
First 10 baby bear loads: 3.6g+/- averaged 1005fps : deviation 21.9
Second 10 mama bear loads: 3.8g+/- averaged 1050fps : deviation 13.4
Third 10 papa bear loads: 4.1g+/- averaged 1129 : deviation 25.4
Third load was most accurate. Here's first 5 at 15 yards.
I was given some Dupont PB and IRM PB powder (I've read the formula changed after IRM took over the DuPont product.
If anyone has cast bullet load data/experience with either for 124 or 145 coated cast bullets or my original HSM 125g cast, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks for welcoming me to your community!

Re: First reloading - 9mm cast bullets
If it leads at the breach it's too small .
If it leads at the muzzle it's lube .
Load to magazine length and adjust to feed and battery freely .
Jacketed data has been successfully used a lot for cast and more so with PC
