?Powder funnels?

OK I have the Lee funnel and it seems to work fine for all the cartridges I load for, 8x57, 30/06,7.55x55, 6.5 x 50, 7.62 x XX and all my straight walled cases. I frequently see ads for RCBS, Saterns, Frankfort Arsenal's, and many others. So what's the advantage of these competitor other than the drop tube compaction of powders :?:

I do know my Lee funnel used in conjunction with an RCBS loading block just ain't the right combination for charging 9mm brass

I have the Lee universal, and the rcbs with cartridge adapters and I tend to use the green rcbs for the funnel it has a positive feel and fits my cartridges better than the lee.

I also have an MTM funnel with the different length drop tubes but use the Lee about 99.9% of the time as 99.9% of the charges I drop are done on the press.

I'm charging cases either with the Powder Through Expander die or Universal Charging Die. Those drops that are not done through the Auto Disk (Pro) are usually dropped with the Perfect Powder Measure, weighed on the Safety Scale, and then dropped through the appropriate die on the press.

In all of the stuff that has come on gone I think I like the RCBS short funnel best of those that I've used . I don't think I've had a Lee but with some future projects the drop tube options are sounding good.

Lee for me, at least 95% of the time. I also have a real old Herters,
that after a smoothing & polishing with 2000gt wet dry & a good
de-staticing, (?????) it works, & I do use it some.
Since I am batching on a single stage, I charge directly into
the case from the drop,(PPM, RCBS, Redding, Lee dippers) weighing
on a beam every 10th, or when something doesn't feel right.
Somehow, the Lee keeps ending up in my hands, just feels right??????

I'm the odd duck here I charge mine off press. Slow but I measure every round of powder.

me too .... that's why I said something about the Lee funnel and the RCBS loading block not playing nice together with 9mm brass .... I have the brass in the loading block and move the funnel to each case to drop the load .... not enough length on the 9mm to get a seal with the funnel ....
