Then I decided to make a run of 50 .38 Special 130 gr powder coated gifts over 5.0 of Unique (still looking for a use for Unique)

Flipped my tray with 8 cases left to charge.

I did that the other day and gave up as I use a old ohaus 1010 and I take forever to weigh the charges each one I had 42 charged and my phone started ringing and made me jump lol. I was loading .357 magnum with 180 grain lead powder coated bullets. I think I got them from don. They shoot very well I just had to size them started to make this batch and got frustrated after I flipped mine. I'll load them up eventually again.

Son of a monkey! That is one way to use up the Unique! Nice recovery, really like that marbled grey bullet!

(I've never seen any of that around here before either) that every once in a while I'll stick one of those on the uniforming tool head and it'll take the skin off your fingers if your not wearing a glove

I had a S&B case rip the uniformer right out of my K&M tool! The cutter & shaft is held in place by a setscrew, but now I need to figure out how I'm going to knock that case off.

I think these came from Don.

I hope so since I just wrote it.

It was the best use of Unique I've found.

Yikes!!!!!!!!... Maybe set the case on top of a vise open just far enough, use a decapping pin with a whack from your impact bullet puller or other "whacker" of your choice.... interesting conundrum though..

Gonna take care of this as soon as I run my racoon trap line. I sprayed some lube through the flash hole and I should have a small punch that will fit through that hole. Will place it on the slightly opened jaws of a vise.

Some 40 S&W with Longshot. (my new favorite!) Also, sorted some 750ish 10mm brass to sort out those with crimped primer pockets.

Ditto! No matter how you do it the whole primer pockets processing process is a PITA. The large batch primer pocket processing be it uniforming or reaming is hard on the hands/fingers.

I don't bother to sort range obtained brass for crimps anymore. During the initial prepping process (on my case prep center) if I find a case that doesn't except the uniformer that case just goes to the reamer for processing then the uniformer. Thankfully for me that is a one time deal in case processing. After that it is just trimming/chamfering of rifle cases and I never bother with the primer pocket again if they are clean. I do sometime use a primer pocket wire brush attachment for the nasty looking ones.

After reading here about using the reamer to enlarge the pocket opening to ease seating primers I may give that test run on all my future case preps.
