Been using QL for years. It is very reliable and I recommend it to all handloaders. As always compare results to similar published loads.

I've used it for a very long time. It is worth reading every page of the user manual; it is a large pdf. It in itself is a worthy read; you will learn things you have never even considered as to what is going on at the shot.

Plan to print that later today, I had to pickup a fresh ink cartridge. I find I do better if I have the manual open and the program at the same time. Bullet selection is a little thin for some of my cartridges, more on that once I get into the manual.

The more I work with the program the more I wonder why I waited so long to get it.
For those of you who like me run some of the old cartridge in new guns 45 Colt in a Rossi '92 and the 38-55 in a newer Marlin 336 as an example do you stick to the SAAMI max pressure or do you use another maximum and if you do do you create and add a case for that number?

RD has run some numbers for me .
We settled on 20kpsi for the 45 Colts I was working on .
Not a big deal for me as I only had a BlackHawk and the Rossi examples were built on "M" , designated suitable for 44 Mag , actions . The Smith and Wesson I intended to build would have been safe there also having been originally a 45 ACP .
It's just a safety thing and I would make an immediate change if I aquired a never built as an ACP only as Colts or Schofield like a S&W Schofield clone or a pre 1920 SAA for example .
