"Flinters"
I'm interested in a good reliable flint lock "musket" of .62 cal that does't cost an "arm and a leg". The only flint lock I have ever owned was a "wall hangar"; so while I've owned and shot many muzzle loading percussion rifles and pistols, I've avoided "flints". I'm not adversed to putting one together, but I don't fancy myself an "artisan" in wood or metal (ie. it'll have to be a pretty simple kit for my skill level!). My .62 cal preference (20ga) meets a requirement to use any projectile, either solid or shot, efficiently. Learned inputs from the folks here will be appreciated.
